Guest Talk is a hospitality-technology company registered in Tallinn, Estonia. We build and operate a SaaS platform for independent hotels and hostels across Europe. The team is 42 people across five countries, and we are profitable and independently owned.
Where we came from.
The founding team spent the decade before Guest Talk working on payments infrastructure at a large Northern-European fintech. In 2021 one of us bought a 12-room boutique in southern Portugal as a family project. What was meant to be a change of pace turned into an eighteen-month lesson in how bad hospitality software really is: a PMS that lagged on Saturday afternoons, a channel manager that broke silently, a booking widget that lost sales at the payment step, and three separate messaging tools that nobody on the team had time to use consistently.
By 2022 the boutique was running on an in-house prototype that unified the calendar, the OTA sync, the booking widget and the WhatsApp inbox. Other independent operators in the region asked for access. In late 2023 we spun the prototype into its own company, hired a small team, and started onboarding properties beyond the founder circle. Guest Talk today serves 640+ properties in 34 countries.
How we operate.
We are not venture-backed. Guest Talk is bootstrapped and profitable. This shapes every decision we make: we price for the customer we actually have (an independent operator with a real budget) rather than the customer a growth-at-any-cost roadmap would need us to have. We are not going to be acquired by a large chain-focused vendor and then quietly discontinued. We are not going to jack up prices in three years to satisfy an investor exit timeline.
We support what we ship. The engineers who wrote the channel-manager code are on the support rota for channel-manager issues. That means bugs get fixed, not routed. It also means our support quality does not degrade as we grow.
We publish our roadmap. Every quarter we publish a public roadmap on roadmap.talkg.fabriza.org with what we are building, why, and when. Customers can vote on priorities and comment on specs. Nothing ships to production without a public spec first.
