Hostels are not small hotels.
A hostel with 60 bunks in mixed dorms has completely different economics from a 60-room hotel. Selling by the bunk means the availability engine has to know about co-ed dorms, female-only dorms, family privates and the reservation-per-guest model that most PMS systems cannot handle without a workaround.
Guest Talk Group Sales was built with hostels first. Bunk-level inventory is real: two bunks in an 8-bed dorm can be sold to two solo travellers from different countries who share the room but each get their own booking, folio and messaging thread. The sixth bunk in that dorm can be held for a group that arrives Friday.

Split payments across a group.
A stag party of 12 arrives on a Saturday. The group leader books, but each guest pays their own share. Guest Talk generates a split-payment link for each guest — they pay by card, the money lands in your Stripe account, each guest gets a personal receipt for their share, and the group leader gets a master invoice covering the whole party.
Cancellations are handled per guest. If two of the twelve drop out, their payments refund automatically and their bunks release back into inventory. The remaining ten stay booked, no drama.
MICE contracts and event holds.
For aparthotels and larger hostels running conferences or sports events, Guest Talk includes MICE contract templates. Hold a block of 40 rooms for a specific event, set milestone deposits (10% at signing, 40% at 60 days out, 50% at 30 days), and generate a signable PDF that stores in the reservation record. On the arrival day the group check-in mode lets you check in 40 guests in under 15 minutes.
